Elvira, Mistress of the Dark will be returning to Knott's Scary Farm this Fall with an all-new stage show! The 45th Annual Halloween Haunt marks the Queen of Halloween's final year performing at the theme park event.
Elvira first partnered with Knott's Berry Farm for their Halloween Haunt back in October of 1983. Elvira's live stage show, a comedic song and dance revue, started as a week-long run leading up to Halloween. The event grew bigger each season and her show became a popular fixture, running nearly every single year until 2002.
After a 10 year absence, Elvira reunited with Knott's Scary Farm in 2012 for the celebration of their 40th Annual Halloween Haunt. The response to her return was overwhelming. She went on to appear the following year (and in subsequent years) with her traditional live show, adding a "meet-and-greet" for park guests, which provided long-time fans the chance to see her once again, and younger fans the opportunity to see her for the first time ever.
Being "The Queen of Halloween" and "Mistress of the Park", Elvira has delighted in bringing her ghoulish T & A ( that's 'Talent and Ability' ) to the stage each year. This year's show may be her last, but it promises to be her best!
Knott's Scary Farm's 45th Annual Halloween Haunt kicks of on Sept 21st and runs select nights through October 31st. Tickets are on sale now at Knotts.com/play/scary-farm
